Wow my 2 month residency at 3331 has flown by! I am in my final week now getting ready for my exhibition. Here's a photo from 3331 of me playing around with some test prints.
I'm looking forward to this event tonight! I've contributed some photographs taken (primarily) during my time in Tokyo. I'm really happy to be included in this project, it's been wonderful to get to know the other artist involved.
I'm almost half way through my artist residency at 3331 Arts Chiyoda. I am having an incredible time exploring Tokyo and making new work in my studio. Here's a photo of my presentation during the welcome party that 3331 threw for myself and the other AIR Ida Taavitsainen. I'll be holding an open studio this Friday and Saturday (February 6th and 7th) from noon till 4 at 3331, please feel free to come by and see some work in progress.
In a few days I will be leaving Vancouver for Tokyo! I'll spend the first two months of my 3 month stay as an artist in residence at 3331 Arts Chiyoda. Follow the link to see my residency plan: http://residence.3331.jp/en/artists/002694.html
3331 was once a junior high school that has since been converted into an art centre. http://www.3331.jp/en/

I should have more time to update my blog now!
